Osteopath Direct has opened a new Osteopathic clinic in High Holborn, London to provide care to patients in the Holborn, Chancery Lane and City areas.
Often problems are caused by misunderstandings and can easily be resolved by discussing your concerns with the Osteopath directly. This should be done in the first instance. Each osteopath is required to have a complaint resolution policy which you may request a copy of. If your concerns are not resolved at the local level, you can contact the British Osteopathic Association who have a complaints advice line.
If this does not resolve the problem or your concerns are of a more serious nature, the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) has a Code of Practice which patients may refer to.
The standards of osteopathic training and practice are maintained and developed by the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), the profession’s statutory regulator established under the Osteopaths Act 1993.
The title ‘Osteopath’ is protected by law, and only those included on the UK Statutory Register are entitled to practise as Osteopaths. Unregistered practice is a criminal offence in the UK. The register is found at www.osteopathy.org.uk
All Osteopaths must be registered with the General Osteopathic Council. The register is found at www.osteopathy.org.uk
Osteopath Direct has opened at the One to One Health Centre and gym on High March in Daventry led by registered Osteopath Luke Dillon.
